making change possible

Telehealth

I have been involved in the implementation of telehealth programs since 2010. With recent developments around the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth has become an integral part of the practice of psychology. I currently provide treatment via telephone and video conferencing.

Change IS possible!

I am a registered psychologist licensed for practice in the province of British Columbia with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. In addition to my private practice, I also work as a psychologist at specialty clinic serving first responders and military personnel

I strongly emphasize the importance of providing treatment that is evidence-based (treatments with results that are well-supported by research). This is a benefit to you because we know, from research, that the types of therapies I use have successfully helped many others with similar types of difficulties. As a result, we can use these therapies with confidence and a good understanding of how you might react to therapy.

For several years, I have also taught the undergraduate course on Abnormal Behaviour at the UBC.  Please contact me with any questions or to discuss the possibility of working together.
